Brussels, 07 November 2019

This award includes, in addition to international public recognition, a visit to the Sine Dolore World Park 2020.

The organization of the "EU Civic Awards on Chronic Pain - Collection of Good Practices" decided to reward the winners with a visit to the sixth edition of the Sine Dolore World Park (SDWP), which will be held in early May next year, because it has become an international reference as the only theme park in the world against pain and for the quality of life. In addition, this initiative will allow the winners to participate in the Pain Euro-Mediterranean Coalition Annual Meeting 2020 to be carried out within the framework of the SDWP.

The awards ceremony for the second edition of the "EU Civic Awards on Chronic Pain - Collection of Good Practices" was held yesterday in Brussels, during an event where four awards were given in the categories of "patient empowerment", "professional education", "clinical practices" and the one mentioned above on "innovation".

Attended the event, among others, the MEPs of the "European Patient Rights Interest Group and Cross-Border Healthcare", the representatives of the international platform of the Societal Impact of Pain (SIP), Mariano Votta, Director of Active Citizenship Network, and the President of Sine Dolore European Pain Foundation, Dr. Jordi Moya.

The participation of the Sine Dolore Foundation as an active member of the jury that awards the European awards for good practices in the treatment of pain is an outstanding recognition of the entity and, in addition, an important tourist promotion for the Sine Dolore World Park.
